Responsibility
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all electrical systems and infrastructure within the facility, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and coordinate repairs with internal teams or external contractors to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility expansions, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring electrical systems meet operational requirements.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
- Provide technical guidance and training to facility staff on electrical safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, facility maintenance, or a similar role, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or commercial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC, and emergency power solutions.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, PUIL).
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools, diagnostic equipment, and software for system monitoring and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and external stakeholders.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) or facility management is a plus.
