Responsibility
- Assist Service Engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical facilities, equipment, and power plants.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components, including wiring, control panels, transformers, and distribution systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, test results, and repairs in detailed technical reports.
- Adhere to all local and international electrical safety codes, regulations, and company protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical system upgrades or expansions.
- Provide on-call support for emergency repairs and system failures as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, testing, or facility management, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers) and PPE safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks involving climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid electrical technician certification or license is a plus.
