Responsibility
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of facilities and utilities equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
