Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for property and facilities maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with aviation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of airline infrastructure, including hangars, terminals, and support buildings, to identify maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to local regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships for facilities-related projects and services.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including operations and engineering teams, to align facilities management with organizational goals.
- Document and report on maintenance activities, incidents, and compliance status to senior management.
- Oversee emergency response plans and ensure readiness for critical infrastructure failures or natural disasters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the aviation, airline, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
- Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment.
- Familiarity with aviation safety standards (ICAO, IATA) and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and other relevant software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
