Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of plant facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage and maintain all utilities, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, to support uninterrupted production.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and facility upgrades, ensuring cost-effective and timely execution.
- Monitor and manage the facility budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to facility management, health, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to facility management.
- Proficiency in using facility management software and tools for maintenance, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or related fields is highly desirable.
