Responsibility

  • Lead and manage day-to-day inventory operations for a high-profile life sciences client, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
  • Oversee cycle counting, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation processes to maintain data integrity and compliance with global standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, procurement, and finance, to align inventory processes with business objectives.
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics (e.g., stock accuracy, turnover rates, obsolescence) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of inventory specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and other industry-specific standards.
  • Leverage inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) to streamline processes and generate actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in contract logistics, life sciences, or high-value goods.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of inventory control.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GDP, ISO, or other industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with clients.
  • Experience working in Southeast Asia or a multicultural environment is a plus.
