Responsibility
- Lead and manage day-to-day inventory operations for a high-profile life sciences client, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Oversee cycle counting, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation processes to maintain data integrity and compliance with global standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, procurement, and finance, to align inventory processes with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics (e.g., stock accuracy, turnover rates, obsolescence) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a team of inventory specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and other industry-specific standards.
- Leverage inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) to streamline processes and generate actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in contract logistics, life sciences, or high-value goods.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of inventory control.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GDP, ISO, or other industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with clients.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or a multicultural environment is a plus.
