Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of facilities, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations related to facility management, health, and safety.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Lead sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste, and environmental impact across all facilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support facility-related needs, including space planning, office moves, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing, healthcare, or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of local and international facility management regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental compliance.
- Proven experience in managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and budget oversight.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and adapt to changing priorities.
