Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, and facility infrastructure to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals by minimizing equipment downtime and improving operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and implement temporary or permanent solutions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.
- Assist in the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment or facility upgrades as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial equipment repair, or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibration equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety, with a valid certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) preferred.
