Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in AWS data centers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot critical infrastructure (e.g., cooling systems, power distribution, generators) to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities in compliance with AWS and industry standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations) to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, and order supplies as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work meets AWS’s rigorous quality and security standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support as required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (data center experience is a plus).
- Certification in HVAC, electrical, or building automation systems (e.g., EPA 608, CFM, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a critical environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data logging tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Willingness to travel to multiple Bali locations as needed.
