As a Facilities Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the monitoring, operation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning systems and various plant/facilities equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all facilities equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new facilities equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Certification in HVAC or related fields is a plus.
