Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues in Weichai and Cummins engines.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Dump Trucks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Replace or repair faulty components, including hydraulic systems, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair and maintenance tasks.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, preferably with Dump Trucks.
- Strong knowledge of Weichai and Cummins engines and their components.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in heavy machinery maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid certification in heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
