Responsibility
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control panels, to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with facility managers and production teams to assess electrical needs and recommend energy-efficient solutions.
- Develop and update electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, PPE) and regulatory requirements (e.g., PLN, OSHA).
- Manage vendor relationships for electrical components, services, and emergency repairs.
- Support sustainability initiatives by evaluating renewable energy integration (e.g., solar, backup generators).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., Sertifikat Ahli K3 Listrik) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical system maintenance, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, IEC standards, and Indonesian electrical codes (PUIL).
- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., multimeter, megohmmeter, thermal imaging cameras).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Indonesian language skills are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other Coherent sites in Bali or Java.
