Responsibility
- Monitor and manage critical Data Centre (DC) facilities infrastructure in a 24x7 CNOC environment.
- Respond to and resolve incidents related to power, cooling, and network infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of data centre equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain best practices for data centre operations.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident response and facility management.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for data centre operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data centre operations, critical facilities management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network connectivity.
- Experience with incident response and troubleshooting in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA-942, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or similar are a plus.
