Responsibility
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems for cold-chain and transport refrigeration facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement upgrades and improvements to existing electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for system enhancements.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Monitor energy efficiency and propose solutions to reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities electrical engineering, preferably in cold-chain or refrigeration industries.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, or local equivalents).
- Experience with PLCs, HVAC systems, and industrial automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
