Responsibility
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in dining areas, including table settings and decor.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Handle payment processing and resolve billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferably in fine dining or resorts).
- Fluent in English (additional languages, such as Indonesian or Mandarin, are a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.
- Well-groomed appearance with a professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
