Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience and a smile.
- Educate customers on Venchi’s premium Italian chocolates, gelato, and confectionery products, highlighting unique flavors, ingredients, and pairing suggestions.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments with precision.
- Maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked retail space, including product displays, cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment, rotation, and reporting low supplies to management.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with Venchi’s global protocols and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and participate in promotional activities or in-store events.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, F&B, or customer service roles, preferably in a luxury or high-end environment.
- Passion for gourmet food, chocolates, or gelato with a keen interest in Italian culinary traditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong sales and upselling abilities with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and peak seasons.
- Basic POS and cash handling skills; training will be provided for Venchi-specific systems.
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining store standards.
