Responsibility
- Oversee and execute all procurement activities for F&B supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the F&B team to forecast demand and prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising product quality or service standards.
- Evaluate and select new suppliers based on reliability, pricing, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage purchasing budgets, track expenditures, and provide cost analysis reports to management.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in F&B purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and local/import regulations for F&B products.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
