Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of F&B staff to deliver high-quality service in alignment with resort standards.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ensure seamless coordination between kitchen, bar, and service teams for timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Curate guest experiences by personalizing service, handling special requests, and resolving complaints professionally.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with local regulations and resort policies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on service etiquette, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
- Monitor cost control and minimize wastage while maintaining premium quality in food and beverage offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to refine menu presentations and recommend improvements based on guest feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within F&B, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Proven expertise in Oriental and Western cuisine service, including fine dining and à la carte settings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multicultural teams and international guests.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Passion for hospitality with a guest-centric mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools.
