Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end export and import processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and verify all necessary documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipments.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all export-import transactions and ensure proper filing.
- Liaise with government agencies, including customs and port authorities, to ensure compliance.
- Provide regular reports on shipment status, costs, and potential risks.
- Assist in negotiating freight rates and optimizing logistics costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in export-import operations or logistics.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Indonesian.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping procedures is preferred.
