Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage export-import shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international clients to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs without compromising service quality.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies or delays proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, costs, and communications for auditing and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in export-import operations, shipping, or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for international communication.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ERP or logistics management software is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
