Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate export and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, tariffs, and regulations (e.g., Indonesian Customs, WTO, and Free Trade Agreements).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to optimize logistics and reduce transit times.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving delays or discrepancies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Negotiate with suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners to secure cost-effective and efficient trade solutions.
- Prepare and submit trade finance documents (e.g., letters of credit, bank guarantees) to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all EXIM activities and generate reports for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, finance, legal) to align EXIM processes with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in EXIM operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international trade regulations, HS codes, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in trade documentation software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or customs management systems).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and international shipping practices.
