Responsibility

  • Provide exceptional table service to guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a memorable dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
  • Set up and maintain dining areas, including table arrangements, condiments, and service stations
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with diplomacy and efficiency
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with integrity
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and contribute to team briefings
  • Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and revenue

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in restaurants, hotels, or resorts
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
