Responsibility
- Provide exceptional table service to guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including table arrangements, condiments, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with diplomacy and efficiency
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with integrity
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and contribute to team briefings
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and revenue
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in restaurants, hotels, or resorts
- Excellent command of English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Japanese, etc.) are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
- Valid health certificate (will be provided if needed)
