Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets Ku De Ta’s high standards.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and discreetly.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing condiments, and clearing used dishes.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or resort.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, French, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage with guests.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, etiquette, and wine service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance, adhering to Ku De Ta’s dress code.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods while carrying trays or plates.
- Basic math skills for processing bills and handling cash transactions.
