Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and a smile.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure all dietary restrictions or special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including setting tables and replenishing supplies.
- Handle payments efficiently using POS systems and provide itemized receipts.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints with empathy and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with restaurant policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or luxury hospitality setting (preferred but not required).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to engage guests.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of wine, cocktails, and menu items to provide informed recommendations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
