Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently, adhering to Seiya Ramen’s high standards of presentation and service.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, anticipating requests and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including setting tables and replenishing supplies.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, following all health and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, café, or hotel setting.
- Fluent in English (additional languages, especially Japanese or Indonesian, are a plus).
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in order accuracy and table presentation.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and a willingness to learn about our menu offerings.
