Responsibility
- Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming dining experience from start to finish.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about our Italian menu.
- Serve dishes and drinks with professionalism, adhering to restaurant standards and timing.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, refilling condiments, and clearing plates.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, including cash and digital transactions.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting (preferably in fine dining or Italian cuisine).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine pairings is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities, with a proactive attitude.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Italian, or Mandarin) are highly advantageous.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
