Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations based on menu knowledge.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly, adhering to presentation and service standards.
- Monitor guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Upsell specials, desserts, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a café, restaurant, or bakery setting.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
