Responsibility
- Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, catering to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail, ensuring presentation and timing meet our high standards.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing recommendations and resolving any concerns with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions with integrity.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or peak service hours.
- Uphold Bamboo U’s commitment to sustainability by minimizing waste and following eco-friendly practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, or Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
