Responsibility
- Oversee daily trucking operations, including route planning, scheduling, and fleet management to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Manage and lead a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Monitor and optimize fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and operational costs to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transportation regulations, including safety standards and environmental policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies to support smooth and compliant operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in managing trucking operations, including fleet management, route optimization, and driver supervision.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in Indonesia.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
