Responsibility
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy trucks to transport goods between warehouses, factories, and client locations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while adapting to traffic, weather, or road conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery records in compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to confirm pickup/delivery details.
- Adhere to all local, national, and company safety protocols, including defensive driving practices.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or delays immediately to the operations team.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian commercial driver’s license (SIM A or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in logistics or manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with Bali’s road networks and regional transportation regulations.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and ability to perform minor repairs if needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo (where required) and endure long hours of driving.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as per operational needs.
