Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality tea beverages, including traditional and specialty blends, with precision and creativity.
- Educate customers on tea varieties, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tea station, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are stocked and ready.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal tea menus and promotional offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering tea leaves, accessories, and other supplies.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to expand your tea knowledge and service skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Tearista, Barista, or in a similar role within a café or tea house.
- Deep knowledge of tea varieties, brewing methods, and flavor pairings.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
