Responsibility
- Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience from start to finish.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary needs.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, process payments, and handle transactions with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, maintaining smooth communication throughout service.
- Anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing requests or concerns to exceed expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including tables, condiments, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and restaurant policies.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and team briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
- Upsell premium menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
- Excellent command of English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian, French) are a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, order-taking software, and cash-handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (for foreign applicants).
