Responsibility
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Memorize menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials, to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Upsell premium dishes, beverages, and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Handle heavy trays and serve food and beverages efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, refilling condiments, and adhering to hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in training new staff members and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Server, Waiter/Waitress, or similar role in a high-volume dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including upselling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, carry heavy trays, and move quickly during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
