Responsibility
- Deliver personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions in Primary, Secondary, JC, IGCSE, or IB subjects based on the student’s curriculum and learning pace.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
- Prepare students for exams, assignments, and projects by reinforcing key concepts and teaching effective study techniques.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring engagement and comprehension.
- Maintain a professional and punctual approach, adhering to scheduled tutoring sessions and commitments.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to address academic concerns and track improvements over time.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and educational best practices to provide high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant, preferably in Primary, Secondary, JC, IGCSE, or IB subjects.
- Strong academic background in the subjects you intend to teach (e.g., Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, Humanities).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and parents.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students overcome academic challenges.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE, IB) is a plus.
- Responsible, committed, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
