The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive to join the Dean’s Office (Education & Curriculum) on a 2-year contract. Responsibility
- Coordinate and oversee the development, review, and implementation of academic curricula in alignment with university standards and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with faculty, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance, rigor, and innovation.
- Manage administrative processes related to course approvals, program accreditation, and compliance with educational policies.
- Analyze curriculum data and student feedback to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable recommendations.
- Support the Dean’s Office in strategic planning, including long-term academic goals, resource allocation, and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership, committees, and regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings to foster collaboration and best practices in curriculum design.
- Stay updated on global trends in higher education and integrate insights into NUS’s curriculum framework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in academic administration, curriculum development, or a similar role within a higher education institution.
- Proven track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with educational technology, learning management systems (LMS), and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
