Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective one-on-one or small-group math tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual learning needs.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans based on Eye Level’s curriculum and students’ progress.
- Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses, providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, including digital tools and hands-on activities, to enhance comprehension.
- Monitor and document student performance, ensuring alignment with academic goals and standards.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
- Prepare students for exams, competitions, and real-world applications of mathematical concepts.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional demeanor to foster a love for learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required).
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in mathematics (preferred).
- Strong command of mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students of varying ages and abilities.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital learning platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
- Fluency in English and/or Indonesian is highly desirable.
