Responsibility
- Translate conceptual interior design sketches and ideas into accurate, detailed technical drawings and production documents using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Develop comprehensive working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings for furniture and fixtures.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in technical documentation.
- Prepare material schedules, specifications, and construction details to guide production and installation teams.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to clarify technical details and resolve on-site issues during project execution.
- Maintain organized digital archives of all project drawings and documentation for future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest drafting techniques, software tools, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as an Interior Drafter or similar role in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential; knowledge of Revit or 3ds Max is a plus.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free documentation.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes, standards, and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with international clients and teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
