Responsibility
- Assist senior designers in developing conceptual designs, mood boards, and 3D renderings for residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct space planning and create detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Research and source materials, finishes, furniture, and decor that align with project budgets and design visions.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including cost estimates and material specifications, to clients and stakeholders.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality control.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable design practices, and emerging technologies in interior design.
- Contribute to the studio’s creative brainstorming sessions and provide innovative design solutions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or a related role (internships or academic projects count!).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, proportions, and functionality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Passion for sustainable and culturally inspired design, with an interest in Bali’s unique architectural heritage.
