In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining structured cabling systems that form the backbone of modern communication networks. You'll work on diverse projects in some of Bali's most exciting locations - from luxury resorts in Nusa Dua to tech hubs in Canggu and co-working spaces in Ubud. Note: This position requires frequent travel between project sites across Bali. Transportation will be provided.
Responsibility
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems according to industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for cable routing and installation
- Perform cable pulling, dressing, and labeling in compliance with project specifications
- Conduct cable testing using Fluke or similar certification tools to ensure optimal performance
- Install and configure network racks, patch panels, and cable management systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve cable system issues, including signal loss and interference problems
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain accurate documentation of cable installations and test results
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling installation or related ICT field
- Proven experience with copper (Cat5e/6/6a) and fiber optic cabling systems
- Familiarity with cable testing equipment (Fluke DTX, CertiFiber, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cable schematics
- Basic understanding of network protocols and data transmission principles
- Physical ability to perform cable pulling, ladder work, and equipment installation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between project sites
- Basic English communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia fluency required)
