Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain headend equipment to ensure optimal signal transmission and broadcast quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to signal distribution, including customer complaints across multiple communication channels.
- Collaborate with installation and support teams to diagnose and address service disruptions promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and configurations on headend systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in detailed reports for internal reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for broadcast and cable operations.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers during installations, upgrades, and service requests.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in broadcast and cable systems to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Headend Operator, Broadcast Technician, or similar role in cable or broadcast systems.
- Strong understanding of signal transmission, RF technology, and digital headend systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and equipment for signal monitoring and diagnostics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and assist customers effectively.
- Certification or training in broadcast technology, telecommunications, or related fields is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
