Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures to protect against cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery from security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into systems and applications.
- Monitor security systems and analyze logs to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies to enhance our security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
