Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect machinery before use to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Stack and organize pallets, crates, and other goods in designated storage areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear and adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic literacy in English for reading instructions and communicating with team members.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics is a plus.
