Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed, including but not limited to, labeling, sorting, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license (preferred but not mandatory for training purposes).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Flexibility to work a 5.5-day work week, including weekends if required.
