Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical counts to system records and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments by palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products as needed.
- Follow all warehouse procedures, including proper stacking, storage, and rotation of stock (FIFO/LIFO).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.
