Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, including digital X-rays and treatment notes, with accuracy.
- Coordinate appointment schedules and follow up with patients for reminders.
- Order and inventory dental supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked.
- Provide chairside support during examinations, cleanings, and surgical procedures.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
