Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve communication, articulation, and fluency.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to support therapy goals at home.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy techniques and best practices.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about speech and language disorders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Speech Therapist (or eligibility to obtain local certification).
- Proven experience in assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and therapeutic tools for speech therapy.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
