Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and develop dental X-rays following strict safety protocols.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive dental practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes, in compliance with clinic policies.
- Prepare and hand instruments to dentists during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for use.
- Schedule patient appointments, confirm follow-ups, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization standards to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from a recognized institution (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in dental software for patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional fluency in Indonesian is a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital radiography systems.
