Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
- Proficient in dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of digital X-ray systems and dental software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial.
