Responsibility
- Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak service hours.
- Assist in menu development by contributing creative ideas for new dishes or specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper sanitization of equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues to the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold Compass Group’s culinary standards.
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably with exposure to both Asian and Western cuisines.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
