Responsibility
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests in a café setting, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages according to Dewgather’s standards.
- Take and process customer orders accurately, including food and beverage selections, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate and maintain café equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage customer inquiries or complaints with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and barista team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times, including regular cleaning of workstations and dining areas.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies, setting up the café, and ensuring all areas are ready for service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role (experience as a barista is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art (training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other international languages) are a bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the hospitality industry.
